‘Co-production? Children and young people’s involvement in collective decision making’ Seminar


This lecture on child and youth participation will be led by Professor Kay Tisdall from the University of Edinburgh on Thursday February 8th from 1-2 pm in the Geary Institute, Geary Seminar Room, presented by the UCD CHilD-RC in association with the School of Social Policy, Social Work & Social Justice.

Kay Tisdall is Professor of Childhood Policy and Programme Director of the MSc in Childhood Studies at the University of Edinburgh. She has been a part of collaborative research programmes on children and young people’s participation, including current work on international child protection with colleagues in Brazil, Canada, China and South Africa. She has developed interests in how to involve children and young people in research, including co-editing The Sage Handbook of Early Childhood Research.
