PhD Student in UCD School of Psychology, Thesis topic: The contribution of sensory processing to the relationship between sleep and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in at-risk infants;

Description: This project aims to examine the impact of sleep problems and sensory processing on attention development in children of parents with an ADHD diagnosis. Phase one of the project consists of a parent-reported questionnaire for children less than 60 months of age. Phase two involves a laboratory assessment of infants at approximately 12 months of age. This study will benefit children who are already at a high-risk for ADHD by informing future clinical interventions.
